This one bedroom apartment is a ground floor property in a low rise (two storey) development.In front of the apartment is your private parking space and a garden/terrace area.Steps lead up to the porch terrace which offers great views down the green valley to the blue seas of the Mediteranain.Inside the accommodation comprises of : Living Area with a two person sofa bed, and tasteful furnishings throughout.For your entertainment there is a 19 Inch Flat-Screen TV/DVD and CD/Radio/Cassette Player provided.Ceiling Fans are fitted for your comfort during the warmer months and heaters provided for the cooler nights.A Dining Bar seperates this area from the Kitchen where you will find all required appliances including a modern Ceramic Hob, Small Oven, Microwave, Kettle and Toaster.The Bathroom has a bath with shower over.The Bedroom offers twin beds,which can be pushed together,a built in Wardrobe,and from the window there are nice views of the Penon de Ifach (The Rock) For security of your valuables/passports etc, a small safe is fitted in the property

Situated about 100 meters from the apartment is the private community pool,which has a small shallow area for children,and a large terrace area should you wish to sun yourself by the poolside.

Calpe itself offers two fine white sandy beaches, which sit either side of the Penon de Ifach(the rock )that dominates this coastline.Playa Levante is the closest beach to the apartment and Playa Arenal is the "town beach".Both are blue flag beaches and a great playground for the young and young at heart!.Both beaches are backed by wide promenades where one can stroll and enjoy the colorful shops and cafes.

The commercial area offers great shopping,bars and restraunts.You will find food from all nations available including Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian,English and of course Spanish.Well worth a visit are the portside restraunts where the "catch of the day" is displayed to tempt your palate.All types of nightlife are catered for in town, from small tapas bars to late night clubs.Also recomended is a visit to "Old Town" which has a character and charm all of its own, with winding traditional streets, cosy bars and fine eateries.

Places to visit further afield include Alicante, Benidorm, Moraira, Altea and Denia.All are a short senic drive from the apartment,or the train can be taken from Calpe Station.There are also boat trips to many of these places from the port.For the more adventurous the Hydrofoil can be taken to the Island of Ibiza from the Port of Denia.Families can enjoy great days out at the theme park Terra Mitica, Mundomar Animal Park or the Aqualandia Water Park.All are situated within about 30 minutes of Shangrila.For those who enjoy golf there are courses nearby, the best being Golf Club de la Sella, which is located near Denia, and was designed by Jose Maria Olazabal.
